Who we are
Living Word Church’s foundational commitment is to be a local church expression of New Forest House of Prayer. We desire to equip our church family in living out the vision, values, message, and mandate of the House of Prayer as described in the scriptures.
We aim to grow in passion for Jesus and compassion for people. Our desire as a church family is to be firmly established in God’s Word and secure in His love as we seek to obey Him, to have fellowship with each other, and to minister to others in the power of the Spirit. In short, we are a people who long to love God with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength and to display that love to those around us.
What we do
We are an end-times church...
We are laying hands on the sick, engaging in spiritual warfare, preaching, praying and prophesying and going out into the local and regional community on prophetic assignments.
We are a family of believers passionate about pursuing God’s presence. We gather to host the presence of God, we are pressing in for the supernatural, contending for revival, and receiving equipping, impartation and activation for kingdom impact in our community.
Worship
Worship is not just a warm-up. It is what we are created for. It’s an inner treasuring of God, and a Jesus-exalting lifestyle of service.
Word
We believe the Bible is the infallible Word of God. It is the story of God's redemptive plan for mankind. Everything we do is grounded in the Word.
Prayer
Prayer is our conversation with God. We partner with God to see the church revived, the salvation of Israel and for God's kingdom to come in its fulness.
Community
People matter. We are passionate to see people come into their true identity and find their place in the family of God.
Healing
We believe in a God who heals today: we pray for physical healing, spiritual healing and emotional healing.
