Intro to the House of Prayer is a training course designed to strengthen your prayer life, equip you for ministry, and above all teach you how to live a life of intimacy and encounter with Jesus. It is about calling a generation who are given in total devotion through prayer and fasting to pursue the heart of God.

Participants will receive biblical teaching on the foundations of night and dayworship and prayer, intimacy with Jesus, end times and Israel, and other key messages and themes from within NFHOP. There will be practical teaching and training in both lifestyle and ministry, with times of personal devotion in a prayer room setting. There will also be specific training for those who are musicians or singers, or who would like to learn to prayer-lead.

At present Intro is modular in format, normally run as 10 6-hour sessions on a weekly or monthly basis. We are currently working on recording Intro to be available as an on-demand video course which we hope will be available by the end of 2019.

Intro to the House of Prayer is for anyone who is looking to spend a focused season of time seeking the Lord to cultivate and develop a lifestyle of prayer and fasting, and to be fuelled with intimacy to do the works of the kingdom. Intro is also the training programme for those who wish to serve in the House of Prayer as musicians, singers, prayer leaders or in any other capacity. There is, however, no obligation to join New Forest House of Prayer.

Intro is designed to impart the vision, values and understanding of the basic structure of the House of Prayer, along with the practical skills necessary to develop into a successful long-term intercessory missionary. It woukd also give foundational training for those who are seeking to establish a house of prayer in their own locality.
